Ava Has Arrived!

Ava Rene has arrived! What a kid. Looks nothing like her sisters. She came at 9:30 this a.m.

She is the sweetest, softest little girl you could imagine.

She was 7Lbs 6 oz’s and 21 inches long.

Mom and Ava are doing great!

Welcome to the family Ava. Hold on to your bonnet, it’s gonna be a ride!

P.S. – Mom is the one who feeds you. I’m the one with the scratchy face.

Well, Ava! You are a beautiful little thing! I can't wait to meet you and see your parents and sisters and brother again. Your Daddy told me to catch up with the modern technology and learn to email him and to feel free to put comments on your Family Blog, so, here is my first. I hope you sleep well at night and let Mommy get some rest. Maybe Daddy can get up with you the first few nights you are home. Or, maybe he can lie in bed with you resting on his chest like I did with your Aunt Meagan when she was born. She used to create a little drool pool in my neck under my chin. You could do that for your Daddy and he will find out how sweet you smell and how quiet you are as you listen to his heartbeat. I love you Ava, will see you soon. Grampy Keenan
