In all the years I have lived in Colorado I have never known for us to have this kind of snow in October.  Our city alone received about 22 inches in 2 days!  All the kids had a snow day  so we decided to take advantage of it.  We had a fire in the fire place, and hot chocolate to warm us, with whip cream of course!  Jeffrey decided to build a snow fort so we all took part, even Betty our dog.  It turned out this snow storm was one of the most fun times we have had right in our own front yard!  And who would of thought within two days it was all melted.
