Hey can you believe it, Kenna turned 1? We are all officially getting old. Kenna had a wonderful time. She loved her cake the most, although it is hard to believe any of it actually got made it in her mouth.

Grandma came in from St. Louis, Aunt Michelle and Cousin Johanna came down from Vail and friends from all over D-town showed up to party.
Kenna loved her gifts. I think her favorite was the colorful paper she got, everyone gave her little bit of that. Boy did she love the wrapping paper. Thanks to everyone for your wonderful gifts, she loves them.

We could not be more excited about our new home. We signed the contract in May, and it seemed like we would never see progress. It was an empty lot for 2 months, but now things are starting to move. What a process, if you have ever had a home built you know what we are talking about.

This is a semi-custom, we could only imagine what it would be like if it were complete custom. Enjoy the progress, we will be putting up pictures regularly as the home comes along. And yes, there will be a party once we are done. We expect to move in on or about Feb 1st.

This is a view from the front porch. The views are absolutely incredible. The home is being built across the street from openspace and therefore we will have unobstructed views from many areas in the house, specifically the front porches.

The home is going to be a 4,300 sqft 3 story house (excludes basement). It has 5 bedrooms, study, formal parlor, dining room, family room, loft, 3 front porches, 2 downstairs, and one upstairs. The house will give us the room we have lacked for quite sometime and allow us to spread out. We were excited to have a 5th bedroom for guests, but now it has been claimed. Yes, we are having another child due April 21st. Yep, for those of you who don’t know, it is my birthday! Ha,ha,ha!
